Mercadillo in Dénia: Monday Morning Market with Everything You Could Want
Monday? Then Dénia is the place to be! In the Torrecremada parking area you’ll find a huge market with around 400 stalls full of fresh produce, clothing, ceramics, toys and much more. The market is popular with both locals and tourists and runs from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. Enjoy browsing and maybe pick up a nice Spanish souvenir.
Tuesday Market in Altea (Centro): Atmospheric and Traditional
Altea is beautiful anyway, but on Tuesdays the village truly comes to life with the traditional market in the centre. You’ll find plenty of fresh products, colourful textiles and beautiful handicrafts. Perfect to combine with a walk through the white streets of the old town!
Wednesday Market in Polop: Authentic and Local
Polop is known for its charming atmosphere, and on Wednesdays you can visit a lovely local market here. Think fresh vegetables, fruit, regional products and other delicacies. Perfect if you really want to experience the Spanish village feeling.

Every Friday there is a market in Moraira, behind Centro Comercial Kristal Mar. More than one hundred stalls offer everything from fresh fruit and vegetables to clothing and home accessories. The atmosphere is relaxed and the surroundings are beautiful. Ideal to combine with a visit to the beach or lunch in Moraira harbour.
Flea Market in Jalón (Xaló): Treasure Hunting on Saturday Morning
On Saturdays Jalón turns into one large flea market. More than 200 stalls filled with vintage items, books, art and second-hand treasures. The market starts early (around 8:00 am) and finishes around 2:00 pm. Ideal to combine with a visit to one of the cosy terraces in the village. Don’t forget to stop by a bodega for a glass of local wine!
Sunday Flea and Antiques Market in Jesús Pobre
A special market in an even more special setting: the Mercat del Riurau. This market takes place under the arches of a traditional riurau, an old building where raisins used to be dried. Every first Sunday of the month you can browse among antiques, handmade items and local delicacies. There is live music and a very relaxed atmosphere — a wonderful place to spend your Sunday.
Evening Market
Every evening you can find an evening market on Avenida de Madrid, consisting of around fifteen stalls offering a smaller selection of what is sold at the Friday market.
